Act 1 in Returnal is Overgrown Ruins, Crimson Wastes, and Derelict Citadel. Upon killing Nemesis a cut scene plays showing that she makes it off Atropos and lives out her remaining days on earth until she dies and wakes up on Atropos once again but sixty three years have passed.
Selene can unlock region shortcuts to each region by killing the boss, these are permanent. All Selene needs to do is find the gateway on each run.
